Twenty-eight days ago, I started and joined the PLSC Challenge with the goal of repositioning and building myself.
Today, I am taking a moment to look back at the journey.
What did I enjoy?
I discovered that I enjoyed writing about my interests, particularly Law. But it wasn’t just about writing.
I also learnt not to suppress ideas or inspiration to draw whenever they came.
I enjoyed learning, asking questions, sharing what I know and documenting my thought process.
Visibility and connections:
Along the way, I made connections with law students, legal practitioners, professionals and people with interests similar to mine.
Profile and positioning:
I have become more intentional about how I present myself professionally in a legal career stance.
I am gradually finding a way to bring my interests in Law, Technology, Writing, my relevant Skills and Media experience together.
Opportunities:
The challenge exposed me to new conversations, communities, learning opportunities and perspectives.
It also reminded me that visibility can create opportunities, even when you are still finding your feet.
I also took up the ROYALEGAL IP Law Challenge, Completed Omaplex Law Firm Virtual Internship and there’s more to share from my October activities. October dump loading!
Confidence:
Perhaps this is where I have noticed the most growth.
I am now more comfortable sharing my thoughts, discussing areas I am still learning about, engaging with other people’s ideas and putting my work out there.
I have also learnt that I don’t have to know everything before I can contribute something meaningful.
My biggest takeaway?
Consistency is not just about posting every day. It is also about discovering your voice, understanding your interests and becoming more intentional about the person you are building.
A big thank you to Gladys Ogo and the Premium Law Students Community (PLSC) for creating this opportunity and keeping us accountable throughout the challenge.
And thank you to everyone on who viewed my posts, engaged with them, contributed to the conversations or simply followed my journey so far.
I appreciate you all.👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 2k followers 👏🏾 on LinkedIn 👏🏾👏🏾

To me, there’s more to learn, more to share and more room to grow.

And cheers to a new week too
PS: PLSC dropped another opportunity for law students, law graduates and anyone who would find value it it. It’s on their page
